Spanish (tourist)women gang-raped in India

Tourists from all over the world visit India every day. They learn about India's art, culture, and costumes. Some take photos or videos and upload it to their websites.

Some women who come to India are sexually assaulted. In this way, the incident in which a Spanish woman has been sexually assaulted in Jharkhand has caused a great stir across the country. The state police have arrested 2 people involved in this crime.

A couple from Spain have come to Asia on tourist visas to tour the whole of Asia on a two-wheeler. The couple, who came to Bangladesh for this purpose, later went to Nepal.

After that they plan to come to India and then go to Australia from here. Accordingly, they have come to Jharkhand from Nepal via Bihar. There the couple passed through Tumka district. Then they set up a tent at a place and stayed there.

At night, a gang of about 7 to 10 people came to the place where the couple was staying. The assailants assaulted the husband and then dragged the woman from there. Subsequently, the gang gang-raped the woman and escaped from there. The woman was later rescued and admitted to a hospital there. Also, a case has been registered in this regard.

Based on this complaint, the police have arrested 3 people. The search is on for other absconding accused. While this incident has caused a great shock across the country, many people including screen celebrities have condemned it.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan said on his Instagram page, "I was devastated when I heard this. When you both came to Kottayam area, you were hosted by close friends there. Such an incident should not happen anywhere to anyone," he said.

Then actress Richa Sadda said, “Shame on you! Indians treat foreigners the same way they treat their housewives. It is a shame to think of this rotten society.” mentioned that.

Also famous comedian Vir Das said, "The 7 people responsible for this incident should be caught and given severe punishment. We cannot tolerate this shameful act.” mentioned that. Along with them, singer Chinmayi and many others are condemning.
