
There are reports that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna is making efforts to prevent a people's revolution again on August 9th.
According to reports of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, senior representatives of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna are planning to hold talks with President Ranil Wickremesinghe next week regarding the steps to be taken to prevent another violent situation in the country on August 9.
It is also reported that a request has been made to Ranil Wickramasinghe to set aside a date and time for this.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna President and former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and the party's national organizer Basil Rajapaksa are going to participate in the talks.
There are suggestions in the social media that there will be another violent situation in the country and if such a situation happens in any way, then the peaceful situation in the country will again become unstable.
Thus, it is said that this negotiation has been requested from Ranil Wickramasinghe to prevent it.
Apart from this, building the national economy of the country, providing essential food items to the people, distribution of vegetables, fuel, cooking gas and medicine will also be given major attention in the talks.
