5,000 per person for throwing eggs at Anura Kumara Dissanayake's vehicle

Investigations have revealed that a person was paid Rs. 5,000 to throw eggs at the vehicle of Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and a Member of Parliament for the National People's Force.

In connection with this incident, two persons are being detained and interrogated. The above matter came to light during the investigations carried out on both of them.

A businessman in Colombo offered them 5,000 rupees. They said that he was sent to that place after that.

Both have been arrested and detained by Nittambuwa police.

It is learned from credible sources that a prominent minister and a prominent businessman in the Gampaha area had made arrangements to throw eggs at Anura Kumara Dissanayake's vehicle.
