Kettamane Dammalankara Therar, one of the most famous deras in the southern province, has demanded that the country be handed over to the military for 10 years because of the shattered expectations of the people in the country.

He said this while commenting at a recent event in Matara.

He said that if he loved the country and the people, President Gotabhaya Rajapakse would ask that the country be handed over to the military for 10 years.
