Justice Minister Ali Sabri has reportedly prepared a letter on his resignation as minister and member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna
A Sinhala media report said he had gone to meet head of state Gotabhaya Rajapakse with the letter.
It was earlier reported that Ali Sabbari would resign from the ministry in protest against the appointment of Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thera as the head of the state's task force of 'One Nation One Law'.
