After the victory of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, the youth, irrespective of race, religion or party, came together and painted on the street walls. The youth had the expectation that we had got one of the best leaders.

Even those who did not vote for Gotabhaya Rajapaksa drew the picture. Those who went abroad for employment paid for it and voted for Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

They praised the President through social media. But what is the current situation? Usually the opposition is dissatisfied with the government. But it is the people who voted for the government in the short term who are fighting down the street.
