Sri Lanka to become China's military base" China responds to US

The Chinese Embassy has responded to us comments that some countries, including Sri Lanka, could be transformed into military bases or facilities for the Republic of China.

In a statement issued today, the Chinese Embassy issued a statement to the US statement,

The Chinese embassy reminded the US that it has established more than 750 foreign military camps for the time being.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry media spokesman responded to a Pentagon statement that China's nuclear number could be increased to thousands by 2030.

He noted that the US had attempted to heighten the nuclear threat in China through this report.

He noted that China would not issue a nuclear threat against any country that does not use nuclear weapons against China.
