Sri Lankan people rallying against the government

Member of Parliament Ranjit Mathuma Bandara said the people's wave was turning to Sajid Premadasa and the United People's Power because of the opposition to the Gotabhaya Rajapakse government.

Therefore, protests against the Sri Lankan government will be held as planned on the 16th.

The government is trying to prevent an anti-government protest in Colombo's Hyde Park area on the 16th.

He said he would no longer fear the government's repression and that they had the democratic right to do so.
