Mahinda Supporters Who Carried Out The Shooting; What Happened To The Three!

Three people were reportedly injured in a shootout with protesters in the Nittambuwa town center. This was stated by a spokesperson of the Wathupitiyawala Hospital.

Hospital sources said the victims are currently undergoing surgery.

The shooting was carried out by a group in a vehicle believed to belong to a Sri Lanka People's Alliance parliamentarian.

The vehicle was then attacked by protesters at the scene.

As the vehicle belonged to a Sri Lanka People's Alliance MP, it is reported that the attack may have been carried out by Mahinda supporters.
