Sexual violence against women is increasing day by day in India. Although various measures have been taken to prevent it, sexual incidents are becoming a regular story. Such incidents are frequently reported in daily news.
Similarly, sexual assaults on animals have been happening frequently in recent times. A few months ago, a man sexually assaulted a buffalo in Maharashtra. He was later arrested.
At present, in Delhi, a person has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a stray dog. A charitable organization called 'Nisgam Seva Samiti' is functioning in the capital Delhi. Pawan Malhotra is working as its General Secretary. He is also involved in real estate business.
He has been sexually abusing stray dogs since 2019. Even though some people have complained to his family about this, they have ignored it. In this context, video footage of him abusing a stray dog was released on the internet.
Subsequently, a member of the NGO filed a complaint at the police station. However, since he is the general secretary of a charitable organization, the police have not registered a case in this regard.
However, when the matter came to the notice of the higher authorities, a case was registered against Pawan Malhotra. However, it has been alleged that he has not been arrested yet.. This incident has created a stir.
